The NFL Supports Breast Cancer in October

In October, the whole of the NFL will be showing their support for breast cancer awareness and research. The NFL will go pink. Yep, those big, tough men players are going to support a women's issue.

And for good reason. Too many of the women in their lives, wives, mothers, daughters have suffered from breast cancer. Many are survivors but enough aren't. This is a serious enough issue that these big, tough men are proud to wear pink in October.

This is something that we can all applaud and show our own support throughout October. Keep a watch for your favorite team, officials and coaches decked out with pink extras along with the official pink ribbon with the NFL symbol on it.

Throughout the month, you will see many different teams showing their support. There are plenty of things you can add to your fan gear that include the breast cancer awareness support as well.

So get your own gear, get ready for game day and support this valuable cause along with applauding your favorite team for their own efforts.
