With the football season for the NFL in full swing and teams are already pushing toward the playoffs, you might be very ready to have a football party. It's definitely time to think about your menu, too! Football parties tend to have a type of food all their own.
But, you may want to think about a fun type of football party instead of the traditional stuff. Maybe it's a guys only event. OK, we know the food that goes with that. Anything hearty like sandwiches, pizza and wings with plenty of chips.
What if you're having a ladies-only football party? You can still go with the hearty stuff, but you can also go with a lighter luncheon type fare.
If it's a family oriented football party, the menu becomes a bit more diverse. No matter what type of party you are having, the football party food should always be easily handled without utensils. It's too hard to sit in front of a TV and cut up food or eat with a fork or spoon.
Remember, too, that your guests may very well jump up from their seats to cheer or to yell at the screen. You don't want a messy load of food all over your floor, guests and furniture.
